SuperSilika is used at ferrous and non-ferrous metallurgy plants in casting and pressing processes, in anti-flange processing, during welding work, as well as for insulation of air ducts and removal of hot gases. The SuperSilika material reliably insulates the source of high temperature, does not contain binders, and does not emit toxic or flue gases when heated.
In the technological route for the production of castings and rolling during stress-relieving operations, the use of SuperSilika as a heat-insulating material ensures slow cooling of the casting to minimize the development of residual stresses and allows obtaining the required crystalline structure of the metal.
